VECV records 32.7% sales growth in Aug

VE Commercial Vehicles recorded sales of 6,069 units in August 2018 as compared to 4,571 units in August 2017, recording a growth of 32.7 per cent. This includes 5,948 units of Eicher brand and 121 units of Volvo brand.

Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 5,948 units in August 2018 (YTD 27,993 units) as compared to 4,521 units in August 2017 (LYTD 20,342 units), representing a growth of 31.6 per cent.

In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 4,843 units in August 2018 (YTD 24,155 units) as compared to 3,818 units in August 2017 (LYTD 17,449 units), representing a growth of 26.8 per cent.

On the exports front, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 1,105 units in August 2018 (YTD 3,838 units) as compared to 703 units in August 2017 (LYTD 2,893 units), representing a growth of 57.2 per cent.

Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 121 units in August 2018 (YTD 367 units) as compared to 50 units in August 2017 (LYTD 175 units), representing a growth of 142 per cent.
