Gujarat to sign MoU with Colorado

During the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit (VGS), the Gujarat Government and USA?s Colorado province will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) where the two parties will establish solar parks, electric vehicle manufacturing, power distribution and other renewable energy sectors.

The Gujarat Government has started to receive proposals and Letters of Intent (LOI) for the establishment of solar power parks with a power generation capacity of 1,000 MW. Also, the Colorado Government has agreed to cooperate for Gujarat?s SKY project which will enable farmers to generate their own electricity by setting up solar panels in their farms.
