Meet India's richest real estate developer! Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Founder of the Lodha Group, has been ranked as India's richest real estate developer with an estimated wealth of Rs 271.50 billion, as per the GROHE Hurun India Real Estate Rich List. As per the report, Lodha, who stood second in 2017 with a wealth of Rs 186.1 billion, shot up the list after a 22-per-cent increase in his company's sales. <p></p> <p>He started the real estate business three decades ago in Mumbai, and is currently constructing the 75-storey Trump Tower in India's commercial capital. All the more, the company has also emerged as the biggest player in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) with 18 per cent market share in sale. Lodha currently has 30 projects under construction covering 35 million sq ft. </p>
