Seven power companies to supply 1,900 MW

The Centre has picked seven thermal energy producers to supply 1,900 MW of power to West Bengal, Bihar, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Haryana on a medium-term basis. The companies include Jindal India Thermal Power, IL&amp;FS Energy, JP Nigrie, MB Power, SKS Power, RKM Powergen and Jhabua Power. The bids for power supply have been invited under the Aggregated Power Procurement Scheme. PFC Consulting acted as the nodal agency and PTC India was the aggregator. <p></p>
