KBL installs solar panels at its Sanand plant

Kirloskar Brothers (KBL) has installed solar panels on the roof of its Sanand plant. This green initiative has been undertaken to promote energy conservation and reduce energy costs.

The panels consist of a 150-kW grid tied to the rooftop of the plant. This grid is estimated to generate almost around 18,500 kWh of energy per month. This will not only result in financial savings for the organisation but will also help lower the carbon footprints.

Contact: Kirloskar Brothers.
Tel: 020-2444 0770.
Website: www.kirloskarpumps.com
