AIIB to fund green energy projects in India

Among other projects, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will reportedly fund green projects and transmission in India. The AIIB is working with the Andhra Pradesh Government regarding basic infrastructure. Even though the AIIB finds challenges in getting investment through PPP mode, they will still reportedly support the private players involved in Amaravati.

<p>The bank has funded nearly $6 bn for 32 projects.</p>
