Make-in-Odisha brings investment proposal worth Rs.4.2 tn

An investment proposal worth Rs 4.2 tn has been received by the Odisha Government at the Make-in-Odisha Conclave, 2018. Two thirds of the proposals worth Rs 2.03 tn are in the implementation or ground breaking stages. In 15 sectors, a total investment of Rs 4.19 tn has been received by the state in the run-up which has a potential to generate 0.59 mn jobs. Rs 2.36 tn investment commitments have come from minerals, metals and downstream companies.
