1 lakh houses to be constructed under PMAY-HFA

The Uttar Pradesh Government has set targets for 28 development authorities and Awas Vikas Parishad to construct 1 lakh low income group category houses in six months. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-House For All (Urban) scheme, the Agra Development Authority is reportedly given a target to develop housing facilities for 10,000 families. Besides Agra, other cities with major targets include 10,000 in Kanpur, 9,000 in Ghaziabad and 6,500 in Prayagraj.
