JSW Steel to invest $150 mn for greenfield Texas plant

JSW Steel will be investing $150 mn in the first tranche to set up its new steel facility in Texas. The Texas greenfield plant is part of the $500 mn investment for the steel pipes and plates facility in Texas by the company. Built on 111 acre at JSW US's 700 acre Baytown campus, the company will be generating 1,000 new jobs in the US and the plant is expected to be completed by March 2020.
