AAI issues 1 MW solar project tenders

To develop a 1 MW grid connected solar PV project at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is on the lookout for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor. The EPC contractor will reportedly provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a 12-year period. While the AAI has fixed O&M cost at Rs 149.2 tn for the entire O&M period, the estimated project cost is Rs 567.6 tn. The project is expected to be completed within five months from the date of award of the contract.
