VECV sells 6,236 units in December 2018

VE Commercial Vehicles recorded sales of 6,236 units in December 2018 as compared to 6,087 units in December 2017, recording a growth of 2.4 per cent. This includes 6,113 units of Eicher brand and 123 units of Volvo brand. Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 6,113 units in December 2018 (YTD 51,122 units) as compared to 5,955 units in December 2017 (LYTD 42124 units), representing a growth of 2.6 per cent.

In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 5,112 units in December 2018 (YTD 43,890 units) as compared to 5,045 units in December 2017 (LYTD 36,103 units), representing a growth of 1.3 per cent.

On the exports front, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 1,001 units in December 2018 (YTD 7,232 units) as compared to 910 units in December 2017 (LYTD 6,021 units), representing a growth of 10 per cent. Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 123 units in December 2018 (YTD 837 units) as compared to 132 units in December 2017 (LYTD 707 units).
