Wirtgen rolls out 5,000th HAMM compactor from its Pune factory

Wirtgen India recently rolled out the 5,000th HAMM compactor from its Pune factory. Samuel Allen, Chairman and CEO, Deere & Company and Ramesh Palagiri, Managing Director & CEO, Wirtgen India along with the global leadership team of John Deere and the leadership team of Wirtgen India graced the milestone event at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Allen credited the success to the strong combined efforts of the India team, continuous innovations and the trust the customers have on the brand HAMM.

?Wirtgen India successfully rolled out its first compactor from the Pune factory in 2011 to cater to the Indian road construction requirements and gained the market leadership in the very short time. Simple, intuitive and language neutral operation, fuel efficiency, ergonomic operator platform, excellent visibility and the three-point articulation for outstanding traction and off-road mobility differentiate the HAMM compactors from the competition. The direct sales and service network across India and an easy availability of spares gives the HAMM compactors an edge over competition and strengthens the market leadership position,? the company said in a news release.
