Cogent Transware launches ?Hybrid Logistics? to boost the Indian FMCG

With the vision to make logistics more structured and supply chain less cumbersome, Cogent Transware, the Gurugram-based logistics company has launched its one-of-a-kind hybrid logistics system to enhance the Indian FMCG sector in association with the UK-based Reckitt Benckiser. The new process introduced by Cogent will combine digital power with infrastructure and service capabilities to ensure safer and faster delivery of products to the end customer.

Cogent is the only player in the Indian logistics industry which has adopted the unique ?Hybrid Logistics? model. Through this new model, Cogent will buy products from Rickett Benckiser and store them safely in their tech-driven warehouses backed by proper monitoring and other important aspects such as customs clearance and compliance management. Later, Cogent will deliver these products to the respective clients of Rickett Benckiser. The new process will lead to reduced working capital due to single point inventory and order management. It will also include single point payment collection and coordination, which will further help save a lot of time.
