Altair signs MoU with ICAT Manesar

US based Altair has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with International Centre for Automotive Technology of India (ICAT), Manesar. ICAT is an organisation set up under the aegis of the National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRIP), and the Government of India in the areas of automotive testing, certification and R&D services.

The MoU states co-operation between the two entities for addressing the simulation and testing needs of the existing and emerging mobility industry. Altair envisions application of its simulation technologies for traction motors of electric vehicles (motor drives or controls), automated driver assistance system (ADAS) enabling technology, optimisation driven design technology and processes for both E-mobility and the conventional vehicles industry.
