Liebherr announces Trimble Ready Factory Option for bulldozers

Trimble and Liebherr announced the introduction of a Trimble Ready? factory option for new Liebherr PR736 Generation 8 bulldozers. The PR736 Generation 8 bulldozers that ship direct from the Liebherr factory are now ready for the installation of the Trimble? Earthworks Grade Control Platform, which can significantly reduce the cost and complexity of the installation for the contractor. The announcement was made at bauma 2019.

When a Liebherr PR736 Generation 8 bulldozer is purchased, the option to install a Trimble Earthworks Base Kit is now available. This base kit provides mounting hardware, brackets and an integrated wiring harness allowing a more seamless installation of Trimble Earthworks.

?By providing a Trimble Ready option, customers now have a solution that enables quick, easy installation of Trimble Earthworks,? said Johannes Neureiter, Product Manager for Liebherr.

?The introduction of a Trimble Ready option for Liebherr PR736 Generation 8 bulldozer supports our commitment to serve equipment manufacturers and their customers with construction technology that can maximise productivity and profitability,? said Jean Francois Sourdoire, OEM Business Development Manager, Europe, Africa, Middle East for Trimble Civil Engineering and Construction.

SITECH?, Trimble?s global distribution network, provides installation services, personalised training and local technical support for Trimble Earthworks installed on Liebherr PR736 Generation 8 bulldozer. SITECH dealers understand how to apply Trimble Connected Site? solutions to effectively improve on- and off-machine productivity.

The Trimble Ready option for Liebherr PR736 Generation 8 bulldozers is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2019.
