VECV sells 5,544 units in January 2020

VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) recorded sales of 5,544 units in January 2020 as compared to 5,906 units in January 2019, recording a decline of 6.1 per cent. This includes 5,388 units of Eicher brand and 156 units of Volvo brand. Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 5,388 units in January 2020, as compared to 5,808 units in January 2019, representing a decline of 7.2 per cent.

In the domestic commercial vehicle market, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 4,871 units in January 2020 as compared to 5,177 units in January 2019, representing a decline of 5.9 per cent. On the exports front, Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded sales of 517 units in January 2020 as compared to 631 units in January 2019, representing a decline of 18.1 per cent.

Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 156 units in January 2020 as compared to 98 units in January 2019, representing a growth of 59.2 per cent.
