Rajesh Goel Takes Charge as DG NAREDCO

Rajesh Goel assumed office as the new director general of the real estate body, National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) that works under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).

Prior to his new role, Goel had served as the Chairman & Managing Director, Hindustan Prefab Ltd. As the head of HPL, Goel has contributed to its resurgence and active participation in the government?s technology promotion initiatives under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) programme for housing for all.

A professional with over 37 years of multi-faceted experience in leading PSUs under the MoHUA, Goel has held leadership positions project management, project finance, real estate, information technology, disaster management, corporate planning, technology promotion, etc., in NBCC Ltd, HUDCO and HPL.

Welcoming his appointment, Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, President, NAREDCO noted, ?Mr. Goel?s vast experience will help in the growth and development of NAREDCO. We are assured that under his supervision the NAREDCO team will achieve their goals and work towards a brighter future.?
