IRB Infra Emerges as Preferred Bidder for Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway Stretch

The subject project or Package-VII is part of the first phase of the country?s ambitious ?Bharatmala Pariyojana? of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). It is a greenfield project for making the 27.500 km Gandeva-Ena stretch eight-laned on the upcoming Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway. The concession will comprise 730 days for construction and 15 years of operation & maintenance rights thereafter.
Upon the award of this project, IRB?s order book will stand at Rs 137.55 billion.
To recollect, the company is also constructing the 23.740 km stretch between Padra and Vadodara on the same expressway project at a cost outlay of Rs 20.43 billion.
