Telangana welcomes CE companies to invest in state

Telangana?s IT and Industry Minister KT Rama Rao welcomed construction equipment companies to invest in the state for manufacturing construction equipment (CE). Speaking at a webinar on Indian construction equipment, jointly organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry Telangana and the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers? Association (ICEMA), the minister said he would welcome investments from the manufacturers of construction equipment. He said that the construction and infrastructure sector was expected to grow exponentially in future and the construction equipment industry would play a major role in the development of the country in various fields.

According to a UNI report, Telangana Government has positive and progressive policies and excess power capacity. The Minister invited the CE companies to invest in the 500 acre allocated construction equipment park in the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) in Zaheerabad.
