2018 was all about product development

Nav Nirman launched two new products at bauma: The Neo Panel system and the Neo Alumax system, which are used for wall and column formwork (suitable for all types of vertical structures). Apart from these, it also showcased its slab table formwork system. Bharat Patel, Director-Sales & Marketing, shares more…

One pathbreaking offering: We have set the benchmark for the most lightweight and durable formwork with the Neo Alumax system for vertical structures. The panel is completely made out of aluminium, weighs about 25 kg, can be used 500 times and can last up to 10 years.

Demand drivers in 2019: We are currently witnessing good demand from commercial building projects. This is followed by infrastructure, especially the metro segment.

Announcement contributing to the company’s growth in 2018: 2018 was all about product development. We have developed our product on a par with international standards. This has translated into multi-fold sales. Our latest system has helped increase sales. Besides, we have also focused on after-sales technical support, which has helped gain the trust of customers.

Challenge for the company in 2019: Government stability poses a big challenge in terms of our growth.

Key strategy to success in 2019: In Q1 2019, we plan to develop the complete system for slabs, which will be much advanced, keeping all the industry requirement parameters in mind. That should be the growth engine for us in 2019.

Recommendation for growth of the construction equipment market: The government should add a clause for larger projects that all the materials used should be made in India, so companies like ours who manufacture in India will get a boost. Right now, that’s not the case because the choice of formwork is left to the contractor. This can change the scenario in India.
