Maharashtra launches 1 GW solar tender

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution has opened a competitive round for 1 GW of grid-connected solar PV capacity. The bids in the tender are expected to not exceed Rs 2.8 per kWh, while the minimum capacity for each project located within the state is 5 MW.
