Cabinet approves Rs.4.85 bn dam project

The Union Cabinet has approved the implementation of the Shahpurkandi Dam Project on the Ravi River in Punjab at Rs 4.85 bn. The funding for central assistance for the project is expected to be made through the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development for five years.
