Yadupati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director of JK Cement passed away on August 13, 2020.

JK Cement is the brainchild of Yadupati Singhania, scion of the reputed Singhania family. A BTech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, he had over 25 years of experience in the cement industry due to his close association with the cement units of JK Synthetics.

Mr Singhania was a Director of the Employers Association of Northern India and a member on the Boards of Governors of National Council for Cement and Building Material and Jodhpur Chamber of Commerce.

He was the President of the Kanpur Productivity Council and a member of the Managing Committee of Cement Manufacturers Association.

He has been the district Governor of Rotary International and the President of Foreign Trade Development (India) Association. He has also been a President of Merchant Chambers of Uttar Pradesh.

He was a thorough gentleman and a well-wisher of ASAPP Info Global Group with his presence in the events organised by the Group and his contributions to the publications.

Mr Singhania?s demise is a loss for the cement, construction and building materials industry.
