Tata Solar receives LoA for Gujarat project

Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd (TPSSL) secured a letter of award (LoA) to build a 95 MW solar photovoltaic project worth around Rs 460 crore for the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Ltd (GSECL).

According to a statement, Tata Power Solar, India's largest integrated solar company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power received a letter of award (LoA) to build 95 MW of ground-mounted solar PV project for GSECL.

The order value of the project is about Rs 460 crore. The commercial operation date for this project is set for April 2022.

The order pipeline of TPSSL stands at about 4.2 gigawatt peak (GWp) with this addition, at a value of about Rs 12,500 crore, thereby gaining a stronghold as India's leading solar engineering procurement and commissioning (EPC) player for the seventh year in a row among utility scale.

TPSSL specialises in providing comprehensive EPC solutions and also manufactures high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) modules.

Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd (TPSSL), formerly Tata BP Solar, has been India's leading solar rooftop EPC player over the years. In February 2017, TPSSL became the first Indian company to ship over 1 GW solar modules worldwide.
