CW?s top 10 most admired construction brands

This year, brands have been going through a special period of learning. Arguably, 2020-21 was one of the toughest years for them in recent history. At CW, we realise that the construction industry contributes a turnover of Rs 8 trillion per annum, and must be recognised.

To identify the Top 10 Most Admired Construction Brands, we created a robust process. We started with a poll of about 1,600 senior and middle management executives from within the construction industry. The respondents were asked to vote for 10 companies, with a provision to add a name if they felt it was missing from the list.

The top-polled 20 brands were then put to an eminent jury panel on 18 March for their final scrutiny and identification of the Top 10 Most Admired Construction Brands.

The respondents were asked to vote from 130 construction brands across multiple categories:

Contracting

Real estate

Cement

Steel

Construction equipment

Construction chemicals

Paints, Tiles and Sanitaryware

Glass

They were then adjudged on the basis, among others, of:

Financial performance
Scale and speed of execution of projects
Commitment to customers
Corporate governance
Ethics
Best business practices,
Social responsibility
Adaptability
Eco-friendly
Customer-friendly policies and transparency
