Rajasthan CM inaugurates infra projects, flags six more projects

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated two infrastructure projects and laid the foundation stone for six projects comprising signal-free traffic junctions.

Gehlot laid the foundation stone for a signal-free traffic project that will be developed at B2 bypass and Laxmi Mandir crossroads on Tonk Road. He additionally inaugurated the Bassi flyover project.

An official told the media that presently, there is a lot of traffic at the B2 Bypass junction on Tonk Road. Given this, an underpass will be built for the traffic moving from EP Road towards Mansarovar.

On the other hand, a cloverleaf will be constructed on Tonk Road in front of the petrol pump near Taaron Ki Koot and on Ramdas Agarwal Tirahe, the road leading to Hotel Marriott.

The cost of this project will be Rs 155.06 crore. A deadline of 18 months has been set to achieve this work. After completing this project, those going from EP Road towards Durgapura and B2 Bypass towards Sanganer will use the clover leaf.

Similarly, a two-lane underpass and two pedestrian subways will be built on Tonk Road from Sabzi Mandi road near Laxmi Mandir crossroad, having a length of about 400 m. The entire project cost will be around Rs 81.25 crore. A target of 18 months has been set for achieving this project.

The CM has additionally inaugurated the Bassi railway over bridge project built over the bust Jaipur-Delhi railway line in Bassi. The foundation stone of beautification work at Jawahar Circle and the inauguration of Desert Park at Kishanbagh near Vidhyadhar Nagar was additionally done online by the CM.
