Ashoka Buildcon becomes lowest bidder for Rs 829 cr road project

Ashoka Buildcon Limited announced that the company emerged as the lowest bidder for the National Highways Authority of India's (NHAI) road project worth Rs 829 crore.
According to data, the company submitted the bid to NHAI regarding the project through Request for Proposal (RFP) for Construction of 6 laning from Belgaum to Sankeshwar Bypass from 515 km to 555+017 km of National Highway 48 in Karnataka on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana Package-I project.
The company has emerged as the lowest bidder for the project and quoted a bid price of Rs 829.49 crore.
The shares of Ashoka Buildcon traded at Rs 104.15 per piece, lower by Rs 0.3 of 0.29% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Ashoka Buildcon is among the leading highway developers in India and is engaged in the construction and maintenance works of roads and supporting services to land support operation of toll roads.
