U'khand govt and BPCL signs an agreement to expand renewable energy

In the presence of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, an MoU was signed between the Uttarakhand government and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for the growth of the renewable energy industry and other projects in the state.

On behalf of the state, Secretary of State for Energy R Meenakshi Sundaram signed the MoU, while BPCL's chief general manager (renewable energy) Shelly Abraham and executive director Amit Amit Garg signed the documents. The partnership, according to CM Dhami, will lead to advancement in the field of renewable energy, particularly solar energy, in the hill state.
