Rajasthan is beginning to attract solar module manufacturers

Finally, Rajasthan, the country's solar centre, has begun to attract investors in module manufacturing.

On April 24, the Board of Investments, chaired by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, approved Renew Power's proposal to build a module manufacturing facility with a capacity of 2000 megawatts. The corporation has now submitted another plan to increase capacity by 2000 MW.

Similarly, Insolation Energy, which was one of the first private companies to build a 200 MW module production facilities, is currently growing its capacity by 500 MW.
