L&T awarded contract for its Water & Effluent Treatment Bz

Larsen and Toubro Constructions, Water and Effluent Treatment business has secured a huge order from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for the execution of the Bandra Wastewater Treatment Facility of the Mumbai Sewage Disposal Project - Stage II.

The project comprises the construction of a top-notch wastewater treatment facility with the best treatment standards. The scope of the project includes designing, building, operating, and maintaining the 360 MLD sewage treatment plant along with a provision for generation of inhouse power.

The project will further host a knowledge centre, a panoramic viewing gallery, and a library keeping the larger goal of creating awareness within various stakeholders.

The project is to be completed within stringent timelines and Larsen and Toubro, having a legacy of completing several landmark projects, is positioned to complete the project on time with the leading industry safety and quality standards.
