Kolte-Patil, Tata Power partner to set up EV stations

Kolte-Patil and Tata Power signed a pact to establish EV charging infrastructure across projects in various cities including Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore to enable comprehensive charging solutions to the EV owners.
Tata Power, Chief – New Business Services, Gurinder Singh Sandhu said that their technical prowess in the Electric Vehicle charging space, with a wide client base of Kolte Patil Developers across key metros cities, will pave the way for rapid adoption of electric vehicles.
With this partnership, electric vehicle owners in the properties by Kolte-Patil Developers will have access to a 24x7 charging, e-payments, and monitoring facility via Tata Power’s EZ Charge mobile app.
The mobile application assists users to locate electric vehicle charging stations, monitoring, pre-booking slots, vehicle charging, e-payments, and so on.
Kolte-Patil Developers, Group CEO, Rahul Talele said that they are excited to partner with Tata Power. ESG and Customer-Centricity are key focus areas for them. And the partnership allows them to further improve the quality of the lifestyle of their residents in a smart and sustainable manner.
The government started encouraging automobile manufacturers to increase local production of EVs to increase the count of zero-emission vehicles on Indian roads, to reduce dependence on crude oil imports as well as vehicular pollution.
