ACE secures 40 backhoe loader order from defence sector

Action Construction Equipment (ACE) announced that the company has been awarded a contract to supply 40 backhoe loaders to the Indian defence sector.

A spokesperson from ACE said, “We wish to inform you that in our endeavour to expand business in the Defence Sector, Action Construction Equipment has been awarded a breakthrough order for the supply of 40 numbers backhoe loaders from Border Road Organisation, Ministry of Defence (MoD).”

This order demonstrates its efforts under the 'Make in India' and 'Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiatives of the Government of India. In the quarter ended March 31, 2022, the company reported a total income of Rs 516 crore compared to Rs 465 crore during the period ended March 31, 2021. It has posted a profit after tax (PAT) of INR 35.42 crore for the period ended March 31, 2022, as against PAT of Rs 38.6 crore for the year-ago period. The company is the world’s largest pick and carry cranes manufacturer with over 63 per cent market share in the mobile crane segment and a majority market share of more than 60 per cent in the tower cranes segment domestically.
