New Delhi emerges as Asia’s top private aviation hub

New Delhi has emerged as the leading Asian hub for private aviation in 2021, according to an analysis by consulting firm Knight Frank. Of the 2,267 routes paired with New Delhi airport by charter flight operators in 2021, the New Delhi-Dubai route emerged as the most popular in Asia, while New Delhi to Jaipur was the fastest growing in the region, according to the study.

Private aviation worldwide witnessed a growth of 47%, with 2021 recording 3,320,471 charter flights compared with 2,258,407 in 2020. The increase was 7% when compared with 2019 (3,102,437 flights)..
