Global Express grants Infosys to handle tech separation from Toll Holdings
Global Express, an Australian express logistics company, has chosen Infosys, a world leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, to separate the technology landscape following its divestiture from Toll Holdings Ltd.
To accelerate hybrid cloud-powered innovation, Infosys will build on its strategic partnership with Global Express. It will use the well-established blueprints and tools from Infosys Cobalt, a collection of services, solutions, and platforms for businesses to accelerate their cloud journey.
In addition, Infosys will help in establishing a greenfield technological environment and move Global Express' applications and services to a leading sustainable and energy-efficient data centre and public cloud on AWS as part of this collaboration.
Exceptional customer service will be delivered by Global Express' transport and logistics division thanks to Infosys' management of the end-to-end programme.
Danny Gravell, CIO of Global Express, told the media that they respect Infosys' collaborative approach and expertise in managing infrastructure and cloud transformation programmes.
He said they are eager to collaborate with Infosys as they strive to give consumers the finest experience possible.
Karmesh Vaswani, Executive Vice President & Global Head Consumer, Retail & Logistics, Infosys, said that in an exciting new era, Global Express is entering, and they are happy to be working with them on this business-critical project.
Vaswani informed that this contract demonstrates their dedication to building on Infosys Cobalt and Digital's strengths in the cloud to generate real business value through a smooth and risk-free separation.
