RRTS station in Ghaziabad would be powered by 1,100 solar panels

In order to promote cross-connectivity with other modes of transportation, the Sahibabad RRTS station, which is a part of India's fastest urban train route, is being developed. It will be powered by 1,100 solar panels. The station serves as one of the two ends of the priority portion of the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Transport System. By the end of next year, this 17-kilometer section of the corridor connecting Sahibabad and Modipuram (Meerut) should be operational.

With the help of the 82 km long RRTS network, commuters will be able to travel from Delhi to Meerut in just 55 minutes using trains that can travel up to 180 kph. By 2025, the corridor will be finished in its entirety.

The elevated station has been constructed over a portion of the Vaishali entrance road. The majority of other stations were constructed over roadways. This was done on purpose to ensure interaction with the nearby (by 500 metres) Kaushambi bus terminal. In actuality, it was built on property that is an addition to the depot.
