North Western Railway creates special units to speed infrastructure work

The North Western Railway zone, headquartered in Jaipur, has established special units in each of its four divisions to expedite the national transporter's development and infrastructure projects. The Gati Shakti units are reportedly being established to ensure that railway projects such as station redevelopment, yard remodelling, and traffic facilities are completed on time. This zone is divided into four divisions: Ajmer, Jaipur, Bikaner, and Jodhpur. The unit will be run by a Senior Administrative Grade Railway Officer who will report to the Divisional Railway Manager. This will expedite the work on local projects.
