Hygenco enters into green hydrogen agreement with Jindal Stainless

It was also mentioned that the plant will contribute to a 2,700 metric ton annual reduction in carbon emissions for JSL. In the next three years, Hygenco plans to invest more than $300 million in green hydrogen projects across the nation.
“This is one of the most significant landmarks for the hydrogen industry in India and globally as it demonstrates the competitiveness and cost efficiency of Green Hydrogen,” said Amit Bansal, Chief executive officer, Hygenco.
An advanced energy management and control system, which will monitor several parameters including hydrogen generation and the production of renewable energy, will be in charge of controlling the fully autonomous plant. The system will also make autonomous real-time decisions for achieving high efficiency.
According to the release, this technology enables the business to increase hydrogen yield and provide cost-effective hydrogen to end customers.
