KMRC to introduce diagnostic facilities at metro stations

In an effort to improve the passenger experience, the Kolkata Metro, India's oldest rapid transit system, will install diagnostic facilities at Metro Railway stations. A representative of the Kolkata Metro Rail Corporation (KMRC) confirmed the development, reportedly adding that medical diagnostic services will now be available at Metro Railway stations throughout the city as part of efforts to improve passenger comfort. According to reports, the facilities will be available at metro railway stations along the north-south corridor stretching from Garia Station-Kavi Subhas to Dakshineswar. Commuters will now be able to choose between blood tests and pathological tests at any of the stations along the north-south corridor.
