Gujarat govt endorse town planning schemes for Ahmedabad & Surat

The state government authorised five Town Planning schemes (TP) for Ahmedabad and Surat on September 5. According to a CMO announcement, four TP Schemes have been authorized for Ahmedabad, however only one has been approved for Surat.

One final TP scheme, one draft TP scheme, and two preliminary TP schemes are among the schemes approved for Ahmedabad. According to the statement, one tentative TP Scheme has been approved for Surat.

According to the statement, as soon as the urban bodies start building infrastructure like roads and drainage, these localities in Amedabad and Surat would experience rapid development.

According to the press release, a provision has been established to build 10,900 housing units for the Economically Weaker Segment (EWS). In total, 69.41 hectares will be made accessible.

The draft TP Scheme No. 413 (Enasan- Muthiya bilasiya) has been approved for the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority. The final Ahmedabad TP Scheme to obtain approval is TP Scheme No. 54. (Ognaj). TP Scheme No. 68 (Kotarpur) and TP Scheme No. 35 are the two tentative TP schemes that have been approved for Ahmedabad (jagatpur).
