Chakan Industries to shift to railways owing to rising fuel costs

Because the cost of road transportation has risen significantly due to rising fuel prices, industries in Chakan have expressed a willingness to switch to railways. A meeting was held between the Federation of Chakan Industries and senior railway officials in Chakan to discuss increasing the transportation of goods via railways and resolving other issues. Members of Chakan Industries stated that action will be taken soon based on the points discussed in the meeting, as the railway officials responded positively. Aside from large industries, small and large-scale industries are now eager to begin the transportation of their goods via railways across the country.
