National logistics policy to launch for seamless goods flow

According to people familiar with the matter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil a national logistics policy aimed at promoting the seamless movement of goods across the country. The policy is being implemented in tandem with the Prime Minister's ambitious GatiShakti national master plan, which was launched to build strong infrastructure, fill logistical gaps, and attract more investment into the country. It is also expected to draw attention to broader policy issues concerning warehousing and to give a boost to digitisation.
