NRL to complete construction of IBFPL by end of year

The India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline (IBFPL) would be completed by the end of this year, according to the Assam-based Numaligarh Refinery (NRL).

The business is investing around Rs 350 billion to complete the Refinery Expansion Project (NREP), the Paradip Numaligarh Crude Oil Pipeline (PNCPL), and the Crude Oil Import Terminal at Paradip (COIT).

On Monday, the NRL had its 29th Annual General Meeting. Dr. R Rath, Chairman NRL and CMD OIL, presided over the meeting, which was attended by MD NRL B J Phukan. During the fiscal year 2021-22, the company declared a 150 percent dividend, which was already paid as an interim dividend during the year.
