India considers laying more petro pipelines for Nepal
Nepal has offered proposals, and conversations are in the early stages. However, the path of a new pipeline has not been determined. The news comes as the first 69 km Motihari-Amlekhganj pipeline, which can transport 2 million tonnes of petroleum products to Nepal each year, completes three years of operation. It was dedicated in September 2019 following the signing of the project agreement in 2015.
