Thakur launches Rs 600 mn development projects in Himachal's Kinnaur

Jairam Thakur, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh, announced that the state government is working "by staying near to the needy" as he dedicated and lay the cornerstones for 23 development projects costing approximately Rs 600 miilion for the Kinnaur Assembly seat.

Additionally, the Chief Minister presided over the celebration of "Pragatisheel Himachal: Sathapna ke 75 Varsh."

The Chief Minister added that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi had started the "Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan" on the occasion of India's 75th anniversary of independence in order to show appreciation to the freedom fighters who had made sacrifices for the cause of independence. He said that the entire country, including Himachal, participated in this effort.

The Chief Minister praised PM Modi's leadership, noting that the nation survived the COVID testing period and had success producing its own vaccinations.
