Ramco Cements inaugurates a $2,500,000 factory in AP

Kolumigundl a , Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh is home to Ramco Cements’ fifth integrated cement plant, which has just been put into service. According to an update from the company, the plant has an annual clinkerisation capacity of 2.25 million tonnes at a cost of around Rs 3,000 crore. The facility has received a waste heat recovery system (WHRS). Utilising the most up-to-date industrial technologies, the system collects the waste heat from the cement kiln’s clinker cooler and preheater exhaust gases and uses it to generate electrical energy.
