PM Modi to launch multiple infra projects in Vizag soon

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Rs 4-billion Visakhapatnam railway station modernisation project on November 11. He will also initiate the Rs 260-billion Visakhapatnam Hindustan Petroleum Corp (HPCL) petroleum refinery expansion and modernisation project; the first phase of the new green campus of IIM Visakhapatnam; and a cruise terminal in Visakhapatnam.

Modi during his visit to the port city will also lay the foundation stone for the new office complex of the sanctioned South Coast Rail Zone with headquarters in Visakhapatnam; a 400-bed speciality ESI Hospital being built at a cost of Rs 3.85 billion; and a modern mega fishing harbour in Visakhapatnam.

Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will participate in various programmes along with the Prime Minister.
