India may export green hydrogen to Singapore from 2025

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the sidelines of the Singapore International Energy Week, which began on October 25. Greenko will begin exporting green hydrogen from India in 2025-26. Participating in a global demand estimated at 50 million tonne per year. Green ammonia would also replace 15 tonne of bunker fuel in ships, as well as fuel new ship fleets for companies like Maersk.
Greenko's agreement with Keppel comes on the heels of the company's September agreement with Posco, a South Korean steel and power producer, to supply one million tonne of green ammonia per year.
