J&K gets key panel for waste management in place

The General Administrative Department (GAD) of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir established a Waste Management Committee in the Union Territory recently.

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has formed the Committee with the intention of creating a centralised Single Window mechanism for waste management planning, capacity building, and monitoring in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
