The acquisition completes of Haifa Port Company

The consortium made up of the Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) and Gadot Group (Gadot) of Israel has finished buying HPC from the Israeli government.The firm declared on July 15, 2022, that the Adani Ports and Gadot Group partnership (70:30 shareholding) had won the competitive bid for the privatisation of HPC at an offer price of NIS 4.1 billion, which is equal to USD 1.18 billion.
The concession period for the port lasts until 2054.
The Adani Group subsidiary Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) has transformed from a port corporation into an Integrated Transport Utility, providing a full range of services from the port gate to the customer gate.
