REIL tenders 50 MW rooftop solar on government buildings

In order to create a total of 50 MWp of grid-connected rooftop solar capacity on governmental structures in several Indian states and union territories, Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd (REIL) has issued an invitation for bids. The plants are to be developed following the RESCO model.

The rooftop solar PV power system, together with the related power evacuation and transmission system, are all included in the developer's scope of work, along with site assessment, design, manufacture, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning. Additionally, it will offer 25 years of operating and maintenance support.

The maximum rate is INR 5.15/kWh for sites located in states and union territories that come under the general category, and INR 6.25/kWh for sites located in states and union territories that fall under the special category.
